This is a workshop series started in 2010, aimed to introduce the audience to the forefront of research on MCFGs and other mildly context-sensitive grammar formalisms.

• First Workshop held at NII on October 5-6, 2010.
• Second Workshop held at Nara International Seminar House, September 9-10, 2011.

This is an informal workshop series centered around formal language theory and type theory, with a special emphasis on the grammar formalism known as Abstract Categorial Grammar or Lambda Grammar. The seventh workshop was held on March 11, 2009, at LaBRI in Bordeaux.
